In the Quest's menu there is an option to enable a gaze cursor when you connect a bluetooth controller (like an xbox controller). Is it possible to support this inside of VD? By pressing Start + Select I get access to a cursor attached to my head that allows me to look and select instead of reaching for the touch controllers or hoping my hand tracking works well enough.

As of v71 gaze cursor got improved where you can drag and drop items while holding A on the Xbox controller.
