Since the Windows Streamer app is encoding a video stream using the GPU, adding the ability to also write that same stream to disk would be very helpful for recording gameplay with the least amount of added overhead.
I understand that the video frame is highly distorted because of the lenses, but that can be "fixed" in post processing. Could maybe even be fixed using a real-time plugin of some sort, allowing people to live stream without having to record/encode the game output twice... in theory?
